Licensed asphalt paving throughout Shreveport, Bossier City & Haughton & Benton & Blanchard, and surrounding Northwest Louisiana. Free callbacks, walk-through quotes, no pressure.
Commercial paving in NW Louisiana covers a wide range: HOA common lots, church campus parking and access roads, apartment-complex reseal cycles, small municipal roads, industrial yards, dealer lots, and school district facilities. Each carries its own quirks: HOAs need board approval and phased work to preserve resident access, churches need weekday pours to avoid Sunday, industrial yards need heavy-duty spec that residential contractors don’t routinely bid.
The through-line: a serious commercial paving project needs a scope document, a stamped SWPPP (for any site disturbance over 1 acre), a permit ledger, coordinated traffic control during the work, phasing that keeps the site operational, and a punch-list walk-through at completion. Contractors who work the residential market exclusively often don’t have the paperwork machinery to handle this.
For projects going out to competitive bid we provide: itemized scope with quantities and unit prices, materials certifications (asphalt mix design, aggregate gradation reports), insurance certificates (general liability, workers comp, auto), bonding capacity documentation on request, and a project schedule. Change-order pricing is agreed up front by unit rate rather than negotiated after mobilization.
For negotiated (non-bid) work we provide the same documentation without the competitive process — often faster and results in the same value when the scope is well-understood and the relationship is established.
Most commercial sites can’t close for a full-day pour. Standard phasing: half the lot Monday, half the lot Wednesday, with temporary striping and traffic control during the swing. Heavier work (full mill-and-overlay of a large lot) may need three or four phases spread over a week.
For 24-hour operations we quote night pours: crews arrive at 20:00, tear-out and prep by midnight, asphalt delivered from a plant staying open late, mat down and rolled by 05:00, site back in service by opening. Night rates carry a modest premium (10–20%) that’s usually cheaper than a lost revenue day.
