Our Commitment

Shreveport Paving aims to make shreveportpaving.com accessible to visitors with a broad range of abilities. We target substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, with ongoing work to close gaps as we identify them.

Design Choices

• Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy.
• Text/background contrast ratios that meet or exceed AA thresholds for body text and headings.
• Descriptive alt text on all informational images and diagrams.
• Keyboard-navigable form fields with visible focus indicators.
• Responsive layout that reflows without loss of content or functionality at 320px viewport width.
• No autoplay media, no motion-only interaction cues.

Known Limitations

Third-party embedded content (fonts, occasional widgets) is beyond our direct control. We monitor for regressions and address them as they surface.
